Ampex Horns D-6973 JBL 527-800 2345 5050

2x Ampex D-6973 horns. JBL equivalent 527-800. A pair of them. Similar format as a JBL 2345. You can see in photo  #9 I have a JBL 2345 and the Ampex D-6973 grouped together and you can see the similarities. There is some corrosion, scratches, glue, etc on the horns commensurate with 70 year old audio gear that was in a theater. These horns were typically seen with the Ampex 5050 system or JBL equivalent as in picture #10. Typical JBL bolt pattern for JBL 1" drivers. These have the damping pads. The one pad in picture #6 shows some tears, but still good. You will receive the two Ampex horns as pictured. The JBL 2345 is NOT included. It's for comparison purposes. These are nice. They show some wear as you can see in the hi-res photos. I was going to use these, but I bought the 2345s for my HiFi project. I didn't want to cut the wings off the Ampex and ruin them. If you need these, you might not see another pair for some time. I'm looking for an Altec 604E in excellent condition with an original cone and diaphragm.
