Antique SWEETGRASS String Holder & Two THIMBLE CASES - Woven Native Baskets VGC

Description

Great lot of three antique woven basket items!  No damage found to any of the three!  Light wear, few small breaks on string holder, does not detract.  All lids fit each, all three are all original.  The two smaller baskets were once used to hold thimbles.  The larger one shaped like an acorn is a string/yarn holder.  There is a small hoop with rings inside the basket that appears to have once been part of a 3 ring hooped handle as shown in a vintage auction catalog, the other two hoops are missing.  Larger basket measures approx. 5" long x 4 & 1/2" at the widest at the lid.  Each thimble case measures approx. 1 & 1/2" long x 1 & 1/2" wide at the lid.  The very bottom tip of string holder is intact with no holes, very rare excellent condition!  Each will be well wrapped, all shipped in the same sturdy container.  Wonderful vintage sewing items!
