    Davis Creek is to obsidian as Ohio?s Flint Ridge is to flint. The extremely high quality and colorful obsidian has been quarried by Native Americans for thousands of years. Now it is open only a few months a year for private, permitted collection only. It will probably be unavailable for general consumption soon. This piece is from some Davis Creek obsidian that a friend sent me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
