    Offered for your consideration is a
    Boston Acoustics
    6½ inch woofer
    that was original equipment in my
    CR75
    two-way speakers, manufactured c.2001.  This capable shielded mid/bass driver may also be suitable for other period
    Boston
    speakers, but buyer is responsible for accurately verifying compatibility with any other models.
    So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this terrific
    Boston
    mid/bass woofer should be yours.

    This
    Boston Acoustics
    woofer is in clean, excellent condition.  The sturdy poly cone has no flaws and the voice coil dustcap is free of dents or dimples.  Plus, the black-coated steel basket is also in great shape with no dings, noteworthy scratches, or finish loss.  Also, the surround is rubber so replacement will never be needed.  Also, the +/- terminals are keyed for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades.  Overall, this
    Boston
    woofer is exceptionally well preserved.
    Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds terrific—clear output with fast, detailed midrange and strong bass for the platform size.  And, I tested its DC resistance at 3.9Ω, consistent with a nominal 4 ohm driver rating.  Lastly, the basket measures 6¼” across (7½” from corners), it stands about 3¾” tall, and the mounting holes are spaced 4¾” adjacent / 6 11/16” on the diagonal apart, c-t-c.
    This is a great find for someone that has a blown or damaged woofer in their
    CR75
    or other suitable
    Boston
    model—your speakers will be sounding their best again in no time!
