Description
Gene Calhoun was a remarkable Western Sculpture. He has been deceased for 5 years. This is a painted bronze and they are very scarce and valued. The tag on the bottoms attests to the origin at the Coleco Foundry that Calhoun founded for him and other artisans. This is 12.5" tall and an amazing piece and likely a one of a kind.I am an old school wholesaler dealer and scour GA
and New England for the best to buy for my customers. I love what I do and feel that we that can deal in antiques and preserve history are the luckiest of all. I am also the founder of WorthPoint and would encourage all to visit it if you want to research antique prices. I focus on happy repeat customers and love what I do and try to ensure all customers are happy. I do not stay glued to my computer and have a real job so please do not expect instantaneous answers. Consider your source when buying. I have sold over 43,000 items on eBay and have 100% positive feedback.
I specialize in paper, photos, coins, and militaria. I sell about anything except reproductions. If it is not old, I say so. If there is a defect, I also say so. If you know more than me about something, that is OK, as I do not mind learning or being told that I am wrong and strive for accuracy. You can always learn more in this business. If I make a mistake, and we all do, I will take responsibility for it and you can return the item.
If buying internationally, email me for final postage if you are the winner. eBay's quoted postage tends to be too high for a 1st class envelope. Also, I make a full declaration of sales value, thus please do not ask or expect otherwise.
