    Description

Sterling Silver in this piece is all handmade in the late 1970s or early 1980s.  Original retail price was 5.
Statement necklace with unusual 'collar' pieces 3 1/2 inches long extending from the detailed hook and eye to the beginning of the 2 strings
    of handmade beads.
I believe the red beads are probably porcelain. The silver beads are handmade and the work is exemplary.
It is possible the necklace was made by artist and silversmith Joe Atteberry originally of Kansas
    and later Santa Fe.
The necklace hangs at slightly over 10 "
on the chest with the collar pieces resting on collar bone.
The silver beads on the left side of the necklace have been polished lightly with a silver cloth.  The other side has not.  People have strong feelings
about whether they wish their silver to be highly polished or untouched, or somewhere in between.  There are many very good silver polishes, some
in a paste or 'wad' form.  If the red beads do not appeal to you they could be changed for turquoise or even more silver beads, perhaps round combined
with the elliptical ones. Lots of possibilities for something truly unique.
NOTE: the color of the beads are what we would describe as deep red cherry tomatoes. They might appear to be more 'orange' in the photos
but they are a nice deep red.
