I created this sometime back, the shaft is one of my last pieces pine that was the remnants of the 2007 Colorado beetle infestation. the overall length in 68", the 15"” blade is fashioned from hand-forged steel with a beveled blade a full 3/16" thick at the center and 1-1/2" wide, attached with Natural Elk Rawhide lace. The 4 Turkey feather closely resemble adolescent Bald Eagle feathers, they are laced to real Brain Tanned Deerskin with real Deer Backstrap Sinew. The U.S Artillery button is authentic and period correct, along with a Big Medicine Mescal Beans (Mountain Laurel) and one ancient blue bead for the Thunder Beings, and a silver-gray Horsehair drop. All leather is real Brain Tanned Deerskin stitched and laced with real Deer Backstrap Sinew. Thank You and Good Luck!
