    Polk Audio
    RM6000
    ½ inch dome tweeter
    removed from a Polk Audio RM6751 surround speaker, manufactured c.2007.  This high frequency driver may also be correct for other Polk surround speakers from this period, but buyer is responsible for accurately assessing its suitability for any other models.
    So, please see my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this capable Polk high frequency driver should be yours.
    This Polk Audio tweeter is in clean, excellent condition.  The radiating surface is flawless with no dings or dimples.  Plus, the plastic frame is in great shape with no cracks, chips, or scratches and the rubber flange gasket is included.  And, the +/- terminals are color-keyed for polarity (red is positive) and have never been soldered on the spades.  Overall, this Polk tweeter looks practically new!
    Most importantly, the tweeter has been fully tested and sounds terrific—strong, detailed output and it extends well into the ‘sparkle’ zone with its 24kHz-rated upper limit.  Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 3.3Ω consistent with a 4 ohm nominal driver rating.  Also, the frame measures 1¼” diameter and it stands 7/16” tall.  Lastly, installation is a simple affair requiring removal of the speaker’s faceplate in order to mount internally.
    As pictured and described, this Polk Audio RM6000 ½” dome tweeter is offered at a competitive price.
