    Description

This auction is for one very nicely configured
    Sun SPARCcenter 2000E system board
. While the dot-com boom was booming I was indulging in a bit of nostalgia and building up
    two
of those great old machines, and this board is one of the last ones I've held onto. It's like I was saving it
    just for you

This board was a working pull.  It has been stored in a cool, dry, static-free environment and is
    very
clean. All of the Mbus and Sbus locking standoffs and the purple extraction handles are intact. Will ship promptly after payment is received; let me know if you want expedited shipping options. Check my other listings for additional SC2000E parts; I'll gladly bundle 'em up to save on shipping.  Or use "Buy it now" and I'll toss in an extra pile of RAM to max out the board at 512MB (with a couple of spares).  What a bargain!
I am offering this board for less than I might get if I parted out all the various bits separately because I'd
    really
love to help out some nut like me who still maintains big honkin' obsolete servers.
    And if you
    are
that nut, I'd love to hear from you if you can put this board to use!
I was once something of an expert on the
    sun4d
architecture and I'm glad to answer questions or even just swap stories - drop me a line.
    Cheers!
