vintage JBL 2" cone tweeter, c.1994—for G40, Flix10 center, others—exceptional

Offered for your consideration is a vintage
JBL
2 inch cone tweeter
removed from my G40 speakers, manufactured c.1994.  This high frequency driver was also used in the Flix10 center channel and possibly other JBL speakers from this period.
So, please see my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable JBL tweeter should be yours.

This JBL tweeter is in clean, excellent condition.  It has a structurally perfect paper cone and flawless voice coil dustcap.  Plus, the thick plastic basket is in great shape with no dings, scratches, or mount hole cracks.  Also, the +/- terminals have never been soldered on the spades and positive is marked with a red paint dot.  Overall, this tweeter looks practically new!
Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds terrific—very strong with clear upper frequency detail.  This tweeter carries to a full 20kHz per JBL’s G40 tech sheet, so there’s plenty of “sparkle”, and is rated to a solid 50 watts as crossed over at 2.2kHz.  Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 6.9Ω consistent with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating.  Lastly, the faceplate measures 2¾” square, it stands about 1” tall, and the mount holes are spaced 2 3/16” adjacent / 3 1/16” diagonal apart, c-t-c.
This is a great find if your G40 or other suitable JBL model has a blown tweeter and will have your speaker sounding it’s best again!  And, long out of production, it’s a great spare to have on hand just in case.
