    Offered for your consideration is one (1) vintage
    SEAS
    10 F-M
    4 inch midrange driver
    removed from a
    Bang & Olufsen
    Beovox S45-2 speaker
    , manufactured in Denmark 1979.  The capable 10 F-M midrange driver from Norway’s esteemed SEAS was also used in the Beovox S45 and possibly other period B&O models, in addition to other brands’ speakers, but the buyer is responsible for verifying its suitability for any other applications.
    So, please see my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this hard-to-find, nice quality mid driver is correct for your needs.
    This SEAS for B&O midrange is in clean, very good condition.  The poly-coated paper cone  and dustcap have no dings or tears, just a few tiny bits of something that stuck to the tacky cone surface over the years, as pictured.  Plus, the included black plastic isolation canister is in nice shape as well and provided good protection to the driver basket. And, the +/- terminals are keyed for polarity (red input spade gasket side is positive) and I’ve retained a good length of the input wires, neatly bound, for the next owner’s convenience in retrofitting to their speaker.  Overall, this venerable 10 F-M midrange is quite well preserved.
    More importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds excellent with clean, detailed midrange coverage.  Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 4.0Ω, consistent with a nominal 4 ohm driver rating.  Lastly, the faceplate measures 4⅛” diameter, it stands 6” with the canister, and the mounting holes are spaced 2⅝” adjacent / 3¾” on the diagonal, c-t-c.
    This is a great find for someone that has a blown or damaged midrange in their B&O Beovox S45, S45-2, or one of the other models/brands that used this mid driver as original equipment.  It’d also make a smart spare to keep on hand since they’re long discontinued and good examples are becoming more scarce, and more costly, every year.
    As pictured and described, this SEAS for Bang & Olufsen 4” midrange driver is offered at a competitive price.
