YAMAHA
part # NS-AC40/TW
1 inch aluminum dome tweeter
removed from my NS-A100XT tower speakers, manufactured c.2001.  This high frequency unit may also be correct for other period YAMAHA speakers, but buy is responsible for verifying its suitability for any other modes.

This YAMAHA tweeter is in clean, excellent condition.  The aluminum dome is in flawless shape, well-protected under the acoustically transparent grate.  Plus, the thick plastic faceplate is also in great shape with no cracks, chips, or even scratches.  Plus, the heavy shielded magnet bell cover is free of oxidation.  And, the +/- terminals measure the standard .205”, are keyed for polarity (larger terminlal = +), and have never been soldered on the spades.  It’s an exceptionally well-preserved high frequency driver.
Most importantly, this tweeter has been fully tested and sounds great—strong and clear output up to a sparkly 20kHz-rated upper limit.  And, I tested its DC resistance at 4.6Ω, consistent with a nominal 6 ohm driver rating.  Lastly, the faceplate measures 4¼” diameter, it stands about 2” tall (including the protruding screen), and the mount holes are spaced 2⅝” adjacent / 3⅞” diagonal apart, c-t-c.
This is a nice find for somebody with a blown or damaged tweeter in their NS-A100XT, or other suitable model, and will have your speaker(s) sounding their finest once again.
